Composer Workflow Tutorials
Watch composers work through a composition process

As a composer, I find it extremely helpful to have a workflow in place that allows me to concentrate on the creative process and not on the technical aspect of writing. Mike Patti and Alex Pfeffer have created a set of video tutorials that are represented in the playlist below. If you are composing for orchestra in any capacity, they are worth checking out.

Tip: Use the Playlist popup next to the ‘Play’ button to browse through the individual videos.

Fantastic video! Always love to see a fellow MOTU user show off the power of templates – and really nice libraries. Thanks for posting all of these resources, Jurgen!

You are welcome, Michael. Mike has done an excellent job in showing a composer’s setup. A lot of questions are asked about the setting up of templates and how they help working fast and efficiently as a composer. There’s not much documentation out there, so this definitely helps.
